IMPORTANT!! The Coaching Agreement is an essential step and your first step. This agreement clarifies the foundation of our walk together. This agreement was designed specifically for the use of this support group at The Power House. It does not replace the agreements or by laws that may be required for personal one on one coaching should you decide that you want your own personal coach.


Christian Life Coaching Agreement

Christian Life Coaching is an ongoing relationship between Christ, the coach and a person who desires coaching. We Agree that:


1. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, advice-giving, mental health care, or treatment for substance abuse or eating disorders. I the coach and moderator of this house, am not functioning as a licensed mental health professional, medical health professional and coaching is not intended as a replacement for counseling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for metal illness, recover from past abuse, professional medical advice, financial assistance, legal counsel, or other professional services. It is advised that prior to beginning any dieting program, one should seek the counsel of your personal medical professional.

2. Coaching is for people who are basically well-adjusted, emotionally healthy, functioning effectively, and wanting to make changes in their lives.

3. Coaching is designed to address issues the person being coached would like to consider. These could include (but are not limited to) weight management, career development, relationship enhancement, spiritual growth, lifestyle management, life balance, decision making, and achieving short-term or long term goals. In this particular group, we will be focusing our direction of goals primarily on learning how to be our healthier selves.

4. Coaching can be an ongoing relationship that may take a number of weeks, months, although either party can terminate the relationship at any time. Some aspects of coaching, or all of the coaching may be through telephone contact, internet or in person one on one. However, this group was designed to coach you along in a support group setting utilizing this wiki, The Power House.

5. Coaching can involve brainstorming, values clarification, the completion of written assignments, education, goal-setting, identifying plans of action, accountability, making requests, agreements to change behavior, examine lifestyles, and questioning.

6. Coaching is most effective when all parties are honest and straight forward in their communication. I as the "coach and moderator" of this group, also strive to be honest with you in regards to my testimonies and personal experiences. You as a member of this group, need to be honest with yourself, your coach and support liaisons.

7. Your use of this group and Coaching services through this group is free of charge. You will be permitted to use this group as your own personal tool to Weight Loss Success, as long as the group exists, as long as you continue to follow the by laws of the group. I the "Coach" and "Moderator" of this group, has full rights to terminate membership of this group to any or all members, without notice or explanation. I the "Coach and Moderator," has the right to make alterations and addendum's of this agreement at any time.

8. Copyright: You agree that all portions of this group, posts, articles shared, etc., are material intended for use in this group only, and/or tools and materials that I use personally in my own coaching practice. You do not have permission to share these with person(s) not members of this group. You can share information, direct people to this group, other websites, but keep in mind, their copyright laws.

9. Coaching assumes that each person in the relationship is guided by his or her values and beliefs. I the Christian Life Coach am a committed follower of Jesus Christ and I seek to live in accordance with this commitment. I am honest in making this revelation but I respect the different values and beliefs of others. I as a Christian Life Coach, does not seek to impose my values on another, proselytize, condemn, or refuse coaching services to people who do not share similar values and beliefs. However, I am who I am,
and will not refrain from prayer, or the use of scriptures of the Holy Bible, what I believe to be the True Word of God, nor will I refrain from making it clear, that regardless of our individual personal beliefs, personal
relationship with "God," my personal intention of serving my purpose is to give the Glory to God.

10. Replying to this post, by submitting your name below, acts as your signature, that those who reply, agrees that this agreement represents our mutual understanding of the coaching and support group relationship.

Upon joining the Power House, those that do not sign and agree to these terms, those memberships will be revoked within 7 days of their initial joining.
