Nutritional SupplimentsThis is a featured page

Initially, I was going to post several article links directing you to the many researches done on this issue. The many diseases, to include aging diseases such as Alzheimer's, where studies are shown that just about everything unhealthy that is going on in our bodies can be directly linked back to cell damage, most often caused by those free radicals and the inability to absorb certain needed vitamin and minerals.

Instead of linking the many articles I have researched and read, I am going to assume that most of you already are aware of the importance of nutritional supplements. Most of us know this, most of us do purchase vitamins, even though they often sit on the shelf and expire! Knowing that each of you are already aware and smart enough to know that you should be taking a nutritional supplement, I will proceed writing this as my own article to include my personal recommendations.

I believe, that when God created us, he knew exactly what he was doing! Everything in life, has a balance. Our bodies naturally produce free radicals which can and do destroy our cells, causing disease and escalates the aging process. However, to counter balance that, he also gave us antioxidants which are abundant in fruits and vegetables, as well as in other foods including nuts, grains and some meats, poultry and fish.

The absolute best way to obtain the antioxidants that our bodies do need, is through the foods we eat! However, in this world that we all live in today, we are exposed to an excessive amount of free radicals. The foods we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, are loaded with chemicals and toxins. Yes, even most of our fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, meats, poultry and fish, are now contaminated. Despite the chemicals and toxins in our foods, most of us do not consume enough of the needed nutrients found in our healthy Godly foods, especially when dieting! In these current times that we now live, it only makes good sense that in order to fight off these uninvited free radicals, our bodies do need a good vitamin and mineral supplement containing antioxidants.

I do highly recommend choosing a Liquid Multivitamin. Why a Liquid Multivitamin verses pill form? The main reason why liquid vitamins are more effective than pills and tablets is due to the nature of their liquid base. With the vitamins being liquid, they are easier for the body to digest and easily absorbed into the digestive tract as well. Chewable tablets and pills will pass through the body in hard form, making them hard to digest. Liquid is always digested when it passes through, so it will go through your body quicker and take effect faster.

Recent research has shown that traditional vitamins in pill form largely go to waste, as our bodies have trouble digesting and absorbing the processed and compacted nutrients. Research also proved that only about 10-20% of the nutrients in vitamins are absorbed into the human body, stating that absorption of liquid vitamins amount to about 98%! This is a serious discrepancy between vitamin pills and liquid vitamins. According to this research, liquid vitamins can be up to 10 times more effective than nutritional supplements in pill form.

My conclusion, pill form supplements are not only wasting your money, flushing it down the toilet, but you are receiving very little benefit in fighting off those free radicals. Those like myself, who have had weight loss surgery, also understand the importance of nutritional absorption and the often difficult time swallowing those large vitamin pills.

What Liquid Multivitamin & Mineral Supplement do I take? After much research, I have found GBG's Health & Wellness 10-In-One Liquid Multi Formula to be my favorite choice.
